Amid issues with the last update, Skyrim: Special Edition today received another update on PC in the form of a beta.
There are no major new features in patch 1.2, which focuses on improving performance and resolving various issues and crashes. It also makes improvements to the mod-browsing experience. Full patch notes follow at the bottom of this post.
It doesn't appear this update deals specifically with the reports of update 1.1 causing crashes across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For its part, Bethesda has said it's investigating those crashes, but there's no word yet on when a fix will arrive or if any workarounds currently exist.

The goal of the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch aka USSEP is to eventually fix every bug with Skyrim Special Edition not officially.
If you're playing Skyrim: Special Edition on PC and want to download update 1.2 now, you'll have to specifically opt into it. You can do this by going to the Properties menu of the game on Steam (by right-clicking it in your library) and select Beta from the Betas drop-down menu. This will cause the update to automatically download and install.
There was a gap of less than a week between when update 1.1 was released in beta on PC and when it officially launched on consoles. That may again be the case here, but there's no official word as of yet if that is the timetable we're looking at.
